Runs smoothly on all settings and the light with 2-60 watt bulbs and standard bases is a definite plus. Only thing is: Why would the fan gods allow such cheap bead pulls for the switches? Shimet (FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful We have 8 Hunter fans in our home. Decided to get the 54" St Moritz. Installed and it is absolutely beautiful. Turned it on and could hardly notice airflow on the high setting. This fan replaced one we already had on the porch. Reason for replacing the one on the porch is because of corrosion after 15 years. We live in Florida and have HIGH humidity so our old Hunter rusted out after 15 years of faithful service. We purchased the St Moritz because it has a corrosion warranty but we failed to check the air flow of the fan compared to what we had. Check out the Hunter Fan Web Site for specs on the different fans. The St Moritz has an anemic 4707 Cubic Feet of Air per Minute. Compare this to the 52" Beaufort which puts out 5682 Cubic Feet of Air per Minute. Two inches smaller, yet pushes 20% more air. BIG DIFFERENCE!!!!!!. If you are just looking for style -or- have a small room, the St Moritz is fine. If you are looking for a fan that can keep you cooler, look at some other Hunter models; Sea Air or Beaufort. NOTE: After calling Hunter Tech Support, they said if I was not satisfied to send it back to Amazon. I did and promptly received a full refund. Hunter wants their customers to be satisfied with their fans. Additionally Hunter fans are easy to install and are bullet proof.
